COLOR-BARS Download {.txt File}
Color-Bars
I must say how i did not think it is going to be so easy to do this! AMAZING!
Now adding another one should not be so difficult.
Playing with this a bit longer and it is not excluded one might easily make one or another color bar effect as intro for any game or anything else.
Source code is included as you see and now do some assembler coding with your Atari-800XL.
Attached text file is containing all the info you need to try this out.

SCROLL-COLOR-BAR Download {.txt File}
Scroll-Color-Bar Scrol-Color-Bar-2
With this one i tried to go a step further and do what i did.
A color scroll bar which can be moved up and by using the arrow keys.
When you check the code, it's no magic involved.
And i am new to Atari, don't forget! Long time user will understand this in no time.
I already have an idea for the next project... But time will, as always!
Attached text file is containing all the info you need to try this out.

HELLO-WORLD Download {.txt File}
Hello-World-Atari-800XL
As you can see, not much different than any other version {except the exotic once} of the famous "HELLO WORLD" example.
Only challenge here was to find the screen!
I must get more familiar with the memory map of ATARI-800XL.
This screen or better said its start address itself, is dynamic and not really static as it is the case with Commodore C64/C128
{You can change it there tho, but then you know you did it. Here 'something else' is changing the address. Well, it's at least how I understood that}
This is screaming for a decent text file in ragard to this problem!
Update: I added a thing or two in this matter, SCREEN START ADDRESS on Atari! {.txt File}

RANDOM-NUMBERS Download {.txt File}
Random-Numbers-Atari-800XL
This is not much of a code. Exactly 3 lines, 7 bytes incl. screen output and you can put your hands {eyes} on the random numbers!
That is exactly not much code AND THAT IS THE POINT!
Now I am really wondering why C64 and C128 do not have that!
Atari-800XL won this RANDOM battle!
