ALTIRRA-EMULATOR 4.31 Download ROM-File {800XL}
Altirra-Atari-Emulator
I download many Atari Emulators and this one is just unbeatable so far!
That is why it's my first choice.
It is fairly easy to use and somehow looks like a VICE emulator for my Commodore C128.
So why not, why not using it... Get it here and start your Atari Journey now!
---
ROM-File is just covering Atari-800XL emulation.
However, Altirra can handle much more than that.
Help yourself with the Google and find another ROM, e.g. for Atari-800XE 'tll 130XE!
This is something we want need here and it isn't available therefore!

TURBOBASIC-XL Download {incl. Books}
TurboBASIC-XL TurboBASIC-XL-PROG
Time is really flying!
I tried Atari ATARI 400/800XL out of curiosity back in November 2024 and immediately got hooked.
Even if it is much different than Commodore C128 {which i got already in 1985!}, it is interesting to see how ATARI managed graphics, sound, memory, characters etc.
Also the evolution of the ATARI graphics is an adventure for itself!
From TIA -> CTIA -> GTIA in the newest machines {well, from back in 1985 and a bit later}
We will get here busy with TURBO BASIC XL in Version 1.5.
The amount of the material depends on the spare time!
---
And yes, i know there are a lot of other ATARI BASIC programming languages and really nobody is stopping you from using them too.
Probably you'll have to adapt the code slighty to make it compatible or to work in first place.

SYNASSEMBLER-V4.0 Download {incl. Books} BIBO-ASSEMBLER
AtariAssembler-TheBestOne What-Every-Atari-User-Need
You cannot tell I did not try! I did!
And after checking out all available assemblers for Atari-Computers, i knew it!
The SynAssembler is the winner! {Not saying everyone will like it}
It is really so easy to use that it bothers me! {Just kidding}
Well, what really do bothers me, is the fact that it is having line numbers!
Without those, SynAssembler would even move my Commodore C128 butt to become Atari-800XL butt!
Maybe another time, hehe...
Download is including all you need to start the Atari-Assemblers Adventures!
This will probably help new Atari users to start quicker!

All these books above are a thing you should read in case you want to get involved into Atari more than:

10 PRINT "Hello World!"

But also otherwise it is actually an interesting read in any case!
So don't miss any and have fun reading.
In case I'll find more what will be not just worth reading, but also readable, it will be added here!
{Some available book copies weren't so readable}
{No idea why someone was sweating to make it available when you cannot use it in first place}
